What is hubbIT?

hubbIT is a fast and easy way to sell your recyclable FIBER, METALS, and PLASTICS.Get up-front no haggle pricing from Georgia-Pacific Recycling on all your recyclable materials. Set your desired pickup date and sell your recyclables to Georgia-Pacific Recycling in less than a minute!

Give me a quick walk through of the hubbIT app

When you login you land on the homepage or the landing screen of the application. The heart of the application is the pricing option you see in left hamburger menu. Use this to access all available priced and non priced grades on the hubbIT platform.

Priced and non priced grades are directly available in the pricing section for your convenience. Quantity and price for priced grades can change based on market demand.

You can request a price for non-priced grades.

Depending on your experience with recycling, you can choose to proceed with a price request or a direct sale. Select 'Experienced Recycler' if you're familiar with the process, or 'New to Recycling' if you need more guidance.

We have provided an easy way for you to access your assigned trader in the application. You can do this by clicking the messages icon shown here. You can reach out directly to your assigned trader about a new sale, an existing sale , a price request or any other question you might have.

All your application settings can be accessed click on the ‘Account’ icon in the top right of the home page. You can do things like picking your favorite grades, your most commonly used pick up locations, change password, access your notification settings and more from this menu.

hubbIT platform wants to make it easy for you to trade. The platform provides updates when new grades are launched or when a particular grade is heating up. We also provide close to real time updates on your sales and price requests so you are always in the know.

If you ever need help and do not want to reach out to a trader we have created a library of most common questions for you. This can be accessed conveniently using the help icon shown here. We are constantly adding more information here so please feel free to check in periodically.

Can I use hubbIT on my desktop computer?

Yes.hubbIT application can be used on the widely used desktop and mobile browsers. It is a responsive web application that is built specifically to support the most popular mobile browsers.

How do I sign into hubbIT?

When you first open the app, you will be taken to the sign in page.

Enter the email address, password and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy Agreement by ticking the checkbox.

Before acknowledging, click on Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy to review these documents.

I forgot my password. What can I do?

Click the forgot password link if you have forgotten the password or need to reset your password.

How can I change the password for my account?

Click on the ‘Account’ icon in the top right of the home page. You will be navigated to My Profile screen from where you can click on Change Password button to change your password.

How do I access my account settings?

Click on the ‘Account’ icon in the top right of the home page. You will be navigated to My Profile screen

How can I update my profile?

Click on the ‘Account’ icon in the top right of the home page. You will be navigated to My Profile screen. Click on Edit Account button to edit your profile details. You can change your password, Update locations, Add or Remove My Grades and edit notification settings also from My profile screen.

What information do you get from the help button?

Click on the help button for FAQs on GP and a Navigation Menu description.

How do I find a specific material/grade?

You can search for a specific material in the grades search bar in pricing screen. Scroll down through the provided materials and click your selection.

How do I start a new Price Request?

To start a Price Request, select the desired grade from the Pricing screen. Complete all required fields across the three screens in the price request creation flow. In the third screen, click on the Review Your Request button to proceed to the review screen. Verify all entered details on the review screen, then click Complete Your Price Request. Your request will be created, and you will be redirected to the success screen.

I have a response from trader for a price request submitted. What can i do next?

Once an offer for a price request is received, you can Accept, Decline or Counteroffer. To counteroffer an offer click on counteroffer from price request details page. After clicking on counteroffer you will be navigate to Create Counteroffer screen. Add price and other details. Click Submit Counteroffer once pricing is set. The button will be green once the price has been changed. On successful submission you navigated to success screen of counteroffer with all the details.

How long is an offer received for a price request is valid?

All offers received for a price request are valid for 15 hours. You can see the remaining time in price request listing and details screen.

How do I contact a trader when I am making a Sale?

You can click on Chat your Trader button in any of the screen while making a Sale

Am I committed to a sale I created?

Once your sale is created, we will send you a PO within one hour. From there we've made an agreement to sell the loads. If something occurs and you are not able to sell the loads, please contact your GP Trader ASAP within hubbIT and we will work out the best course of action.

What happens after I create a sale?

You will receive a PO within one hour via email. From there, the GPR team will reach out to schedule your pickup. If this is your first order with GP Recycling, you will also receive an email requesting W9 information that will help us set you up as a vendor for proper payment.

How do I start a new Price Request?

To start a Price Request, select the desired grade from the Pricing screen.

Depending on your experience with recycling, you can choose to proceed with a price request or a direct sale. Select 'Experienced Recycler' if you're familiar with the process, or 'New to Recycling' if you need more guidance.

How to view the offers received for a price request?

Click on Price Requests option from left navigation menu and then click on the price request you want to view.
Price request details will open up with the new received offer details in it.

How to decline an offer received from trader for a price request?

Once an offer for a price request is received, you can Accept, Decline or Counteroffer. To decline, click on Counteroffer button in price request detail screen, then from the Counteroffer screen click on Decline offer button at the bottom. A confirmation popup will appear there you can enter your message and click on Decline Price Request button.
Your Price request will be changed to decline status now.

How to accept an offer received for a price request?

Once an offer for a price request is received, you can Accept, Decline or Counteroffer. To accept, first navigate to price request details page and then click on Approve Price button. Click on Approve Price button on the confirmation popup to confirm and approve the offer received for a price request.

How long is an offer received for a price request is valid?

All offers received for a price request are valid for 15 hours. You can see the remaining time in price request listing and details screen.

What are declined price requests?

Any past price request that were either declined by you or your GP trader, along with any sales that might have timed out.

How do I view my submitted Price Request?

Click on Price Requests option from left navigation menu and then click on the price request you want to view. Price request details will openup

How do I contact a trader when I am making an Price Request?

You can click on Chat your Trader button in any of the screen while making a request price.

Why do some grades have prices and others do not?

We only offer upfront pricing on the top 50 traded materials at this moment. You can however still obtain a GPR price by submitting a price request for that material. To which your GP Trader will review and respond with a price.

How do I find a specific material/grade?

You can search for a specific material in the grades search bar in pricing screen. Scroll down through the provided materials and click your selection.

I can not find the material I am looking for. Can I add a new material?

If you would like to add a new material to your daily price list, click on 'Sell a Custom Grade' from pricing screen.

You will be navigated to create price request screen for custom grade screen. Fill all the detail to create a new grade and create a price request.

How can I see prices for different location?

Click on the location bar in the top of pricing screen.
A drop down with all the added location will appear, choose the location of which you want to view the price. Now the pricing screen reloads with prices for the selected location.
You can also add new location by clicking on Add New button on the location drop down or directly from add location screen inside the user profile.

How to search for sales in messages?

Click on the search bar at the top left corner to search for a specific sales within messages.

How to message the trader instantly?

Navigate to messages screen from left hamburger menu and choose any chat or click in new message icon to start a new chant and message your trader.

You can also tie messages to a specific sale or price request with full details.

How to include images in messages?

Navigate to messages and open a chat. Click on attachment icon and then click on image. Upload image file in the send attachment modal and click on 'Send an Attachment' button.

What is Your Locations and can I add more than one location?

You can add multiple locations of your choosing in the Your Locations Section. You can pick any of your locations as your default. hubbIT application provides custom pricing based on your default location.
